Rental Policies

We strive to make every rental simple, safe, and enjoyable. Please review these policies before booking.

Requirements

• Renter must be 25 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and boating experience required.
• No pets or glass containers onboard.

Deposits & Cancellations

• A refundable security deposit is required at checkout.
• Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance receive a full refund.
• Weather cancellations determined by OIB Charters will be fully refunded or rescheduled.

Operation & Safety

• All operators and passengers must comply with North Carolina boating laws.
• Life jackets provided for all passengers.
• Fuel costs are renter’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
